I just heard that Jesse won the contest and he is overjoyed. The Grand Chalet Restaurant in Wayne hosted a charity tasting event tonight with three categories: 1) best hot meat dish 2) best cold dish and 3) best dessert. Jesse beat out all other contestants and came home with the prize for best overall hot dish. The crowd loved his ribs! The crowd lined up at his station all night. All the other chefs congratulated him as well. Jesse said tonight was the happiest night of his life (careerwise) and he is bursting with joy. I know that many of his fans read on MOL and you will be happy for him. Way to go Jesse!!! |

As if there were any doubts he would win? They are amazing (as is his salmon, oh yeah, and the chicken in apricot-barbeque sauce, and the cornbread, and.....)
