We're thinking of spending two or three days down in Philly and are looking for hotel suggestions. We're visiting friends, going to the Please Touch museum and we're hoping to find a hotel with an indoor pool. |

I don't know about a pool, but the Bellview (a Park Hyatt) is lovely; a grand old elegant place with afternoon tea. It is close walking distance to the national sights, Rittenhouse Square and Antique Row. |

2nd that suggestion....Otherwise, I think the Embassy Suites on Logan Circle has equally good location, and ridiculously low weekend rates. It's across the street from the Four Seasons. |

We stayed at the Rittenhouse hotel last summer. Nice hotel and nice area. They have a first-time guest offer of a room upgrade also -- our room was beautiful. Nice area to walk around. I believe they have a pool. http://www.rittenhousehotel.com/

Bellevue/Hyatt doesn't have a pool, but you can use the facilities at the Sporting Club--a huge gym with pool, squash/racquetball, massage services (try the Zen massage), classes, etc, in the same building. |

Riight. I'd forgotten; I had one of the best massages of my life in that spa. |

I stayed at the Marriott downtown a couple of weeks ago, and it was lovely. They do have a pool indoors. |

The Rittenhouse is great and the new Ritz-Carlton is also very nice. Both run about the same price. |

We stayed at the Four Seasons & it was lovely...it was for a wedding, before kids, so I believe there were many cocktails involved, thus preventing me from recalling more detail...but you can't go wrong with Four Seasons, IMO |

I will second the Four Seasons. It's a beautiful hotel, great location, excellent food, amazing service. Even better, the Four Seasons is the most child-friendly of all hotel chains, they really go out of their way to make kids feel welcome, provide them with age-appropriate menus, toys and all that. And there's a nice pool. |
