Trattoria on Summit Ave in Summit. "Grandma'a (pizza) pie" is to die for. White clam sauce pie was also great. What was interesting was that the plain pie was average but the special pies are wonderful Small place and parking is a bear. Friday at 8, every table was taken. 6 people in line for take-out and 35 minute wait for take out to be prepared when you call in. |

John, if the place is new, I believe it's the new restaurant that our own Village Trattoria opened run by the dark-haired good cook whose name is totally escaping me. |

Wendy, The Summmit Trat is indeed a new venture for Angelo. I work in Summit and was thrilled when the new restaurant opened. Great quality food! |

BGS, I knew Angelo had opened something in Summit. I was trying to think of the name of his on site partner. Real nice guy; just as is Angelo. Do you know his name? It's now starting to bug me. |
