Any recommendations for a good take-out lunch in Orange, near Tremont?

Star Tavern? The best pizza eat in or take out. The street name changes but it's Vose driven to where it stops in Orange.

Actually, it's Scotland, not Vose, driven all the way to the end. Star Tavern will be on your right. I drive past it every morning on my way to work, it's not too far from Tremont.

Andrea's on N Jefferson (about a block south of Main Street) - great freshly prepared Italian dishes on weekdays. The place is scene at lunchtime on weekdays, lots of good natured banter between the women behind the counter (esp. Angela, who always asks about my husband and son)and the cops, firemen, and mechanics jostling for position at the counter.

Harrar - Ethiopian food near the intersection of Main/Northfield/Valley (technically West Orange but close to the Orange border). Usually great food, sometimes too bland, good value, good vibe. HarrarCafe.com

There is a new rib place on Scotland, near Freeman I think, on the West side of the street. Not my kind of food but my husband enjoys the place.

Andreas, on South Jefferson, 2 blocks off of Main street is an AMAZING Italian specialty shop that makes phenomenal sandwiches.
