I have not been there in years & recall that they had funny hours & were often closed. I still think the place in the city is the best(Restaurant Salvadoreno, 1229 St. Nicholas Ave. bet. 171/172, nyc, 212-927-3898) Street parking - don't park in the fast food place (KFC?) - they tow & get a kickback, or so some nice folks told me when we were about to park there. If you're heading into the city, it's worth the trip. Do you also get the tamals (like tamal elote (sp?)) & the sweet plantains with crema? (not far from the border) I had papusas there and they are good I like the orange location better though.
