I don't think Amy wants to get a Passover brisket at a pork store.

I made my first brisket for Hanukkah and bought it (2 of them) from costco. My mom swears by their meats. Everyone loved it!

Lutz's Pork Store in Union is by far the greatest butcher in the suburban NYC area. It's located on Stuyvasent Ave right past Vauxhaul Road. Once you buy meat there, I promise you, you'll never buy from anywhere else ever again.

Pork stores don't just sell pork, but I realized the pun when I wrote it. Both Lutz and Union Pork Store will sell you all the beef you can eat and then some.
If you want it kosher, however you might have to look somewhere else.

IMHO, Union Pork Store makes the better sausages, as far as meat goes they are about the same.

Shoprite in Livingston recently opened a kosher butcher shop in their store. Warning: It is not open on Shabbos. Call ahead and they may be able to come up with a whole brisket for you. They also have a wonderful selection of kosher for Passover foods this year. Less than a week before Passover and they still have just about anything you may need for the holiday -- food wise.

If you want a kosher butcher shop which is not part of a larger store which also sells non-kosher products, the two kosher butcher shops in the area with which I am familiar are located (1) in the Millburn Mall and (2) on Mill Road in that small shopping mall strip just past the Maplewood town line and a short distance from the orthodox shul.
