Anyone have any suggestions? It's for my anniversary and can be anywhere from NYC to Bermuda. I'm just at a loss |

Last April my husband and I went to the Copperhood Inn & Spa www.copperhood.com outside Woodstock for our tenth anniversary. It was very private, we had an incredible duplex suite, and spent our days hiking in the mountains, eating gourmet food, taking yoga and relaxing in the spa. It was expensive, but so amazing. If you want to reconnect without crowds, really enjoy each other's company and enjoy a bit of luxury, I highly recommend it. |

Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz. It's a wonderfully romantic place. They now also have a spa and indoor pool. Check them out on-line. |

Ryan, I would go to Quebec City without a doubt and stay at the Chateau Frontenac. A very romantic city and the food is fabulous. I go there yearly. I would also suggest the Inn at Geneva on the Lake in Geneva New York. Gorgeous mansion with beautiful rooms. Good luck and happy anniversary. |

The most romantic weekend of my life was the one we spent in NYC at an Ian Shrager hotel....doing City things. Cost as much as a week on an island, but was far more memorable. |

I also recommend Quebec City and the Chateau Frontenac.....we went there for our honeymoon. Very romantic and old world European at much less cost. |

Two different couples in my family are headed up to Quebec City over the summer. Any restaurant recommendations I can pass along? For one couple, money isn't an issue, for the other it is (although they are going on their honeymoon.) I don't want to cause major thread drift, so feel free to privateline me. Thanks! |

Phyllis, Where money isn't an issue, I would highly recommend Le Saint Amour- beautiful, romantic and excellent food. Need reservations badly. Laurie Raphael- excellent food also; becoming one of the top restaurants in Quebec City. Where money is an issue- L'Echaude Bistro- great bistro food. That's all I remember for now, I will let you know if I have others. |
