Does anyone know if Staropramen beer is available in any retail liquor stores around here?

Wine library has a decent selection of beers. I don't remember seeing this one specifically, but I wasn't looking for it.

I think I may have seen it in the liquor store over at the Ivy Hill shopping mall, but then again I could be wrong.

Locally, I think Wine Ventures would be the best place to look for it as I'd say they have the largest international selection in the immediate area. If they don't have it and you really want it bad, I'm sure Oak Tree Wines & Spirits would have it as it has the most amazing beer selection I've yet to find in NJ. You have to got to South Plainfield though, so it's not exactly local. I find it worth the trip though.

To answer JoeR, it's a brand of Czech beer.

I've gotten it at Ivy Hill. Nice selection of Easter European beers, not that I would know anything about beer...

OK, did I actually type 'Easter European' and not get slammed for it. This board is getting soft.

I emailed the Cathedral, er...I mean the Wine Library, too, but never heard back from them. THANKS!

IVY HILL is out Irvington Avenue about a mile. A cheesy little shopping area. That liquor store DOES have many beers, just not this one.

Isn't anyone the least bit curious why I'd go thru all this tsuris to find an obscure and probably overpriced beer? And anyone who knows me (or has drink/drank/drunk with me) knows I DON'T DRINK BEER.

Maybe for a hair rinse? I hear beer is good for that.
