I'm putting together a picnic / bbq for my department again this year and I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations on parks or sites where I can hold it. I had one last year here at Orchard Park because that's the only park where you can have a grill. Downsides were that alcohol is not permitted and while the playground there was great, it became a little tough to manage the kids in our group and others in the park. Any ideas or suggestions on places were we can have our own grill and a beer too?

Lewis Morris Park in Morristown has a large picnic/barbeque area. It also has a playground, a nice lake and Patriot's Path trail for hiking and biking. |
