Ferry Street in Newark.
If you start behind Penn Station & walk up Ferry St., you'll be in the middle of it all.
It's a blast!
There's a parade on Sun. 6/11.

But if you don't like big crowds, try going on friday night for some outdoor's portuguese grilling, with some portuguese folk music and dancers. Only the local portuguese know this and so there's usually not many people besides the portuguese people.

They always have grilled chicken, grilled sardines, portuguese sausage (chouriço), and some shellfish i think.

(but you didn't hear this from me!)
