Barbetta is a beautiful restaurant, but the food is overated and absolutely nothing special for the money you pay

Barbetta had a deservedly good reputation until about 3 years ago. It has succumbed to the pressure of too many overbooked nights, too many expense accounts that spend without looking for real value, and a location that draws too many people who want to say they've eaten there.

So good ol' Barbetta has taken the path of least resistance.

It was absolutely unbeatable as recently as five years ago.

kinds of a cool place, inside a brownstone, but the food, is nothing more than average and not worth the cost...
