Little Pageturner and I went to the new diner this morning for breakfast. We were the only ones there at 8 AM, besides one Seton Hall student. OTOH, the Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks were very crowded We sat at a window booth (very comfortable) we saw two cars cross the line to grab parking alongside Dunkin Donut's, ironically next to a police car.
Hopefully, some of the crowds will start migrating to the Village Diner. Can't really comment too much on the food - the coffee was good, pancakes ok, nice bowl of fresh strawberries served with the oatmeal, all reasonably priced, and the nicest waitress from the Blue Moon days - Halley - is back.

I went yesterday for lunch and the place was packed. I also walked by at around 6:00pm and could say the same thing.

My lunch was great btw (grilled chicken Panini w/roasted peppers).
