I took my sis out for her 40th and we dined there Friday night! What a great time we had at our patio table. The food was great and the white sangria was refreshing! It's a real hot spot and can get pretty crowded but the wait staff make your experience enjoyable. |

what a difference a month makes! there was a thread on here in early may about horrible wait staff/etc...maybe word got back to them??? glad you had a good time  |

You took the words right out of my mouth, Lucy. I heard a lot of negative things about Cuban Pete's, which discouraged me from eating there.

Well, to be fair to the establishment, I didn't read the thread you are speaking of. They are doing A LOT of business...so they are doing something right! It was PACKED on Friday night. Sometimes you have to consider the source of negative comments and judge for yourself.
Another point about Friday night was it started to rain on us and the there was a hectic period of getting everyone inside but the staff handled the situation well.

I wasn't trying to point out the negative thread to be unfair to the establishment-I was pointing out that a month ago it didn't sound so good and i was glad to hear that there seemed to be a change. Your post directly contradicted the issues brought up in the other thread and i took that to mean that the establishment may have listened to concerns of their customers and made a positive change. which is a great thing for a business to do! |
