My daughter and 4 other teens from MWSO are going on a trip to Mexico to help build school houses, etal. I am going to sponser a fundraiser at Mem's to help raise funds for them. There are 6 teens in all that are going and they all will be on staff for the party. Here is our SoCalledMenu and a good time to be had by all. Unfortunatly, we will have to limit the amount of guests to 50. I will post more info on reservations and tax deductions in the next few day. |

What if you have a bitch-slapping booth? People could pay to slap Dave or get slapped themselves (for those who enjoy that sort of thing). It would raise a lot more money! |

This was a very impromptu event and Mem very graciously donated her home/yard. The cost is $75 per person since it is limited to 50 people. I will accomodate my menu options for vegetarians and children if you email me. Children will be greatly discounted to $20 including fun paraphanalia. Let me know what you can/cannot eat and I will provide it for y'all. 75% should go to the organization, unless y'all drink more than I expect. I can provide tax deductible reciepts for anyone who needs one.
Any other questions? Post them and I will try to accommodate as best as possible.

I'd like to know too.
I'm trying to score a vacation day that night (it's taking some negotiation since I'm actually covering for someone else in the first place - ask me about post layoff scheduling someday - GRRR) but definately want to give to the cause either way.
I think it's great the kids are doing this. |

Woo Hoo! We are getting close to the party and even closer to our limits. We are making accommodations for about 10 extra, so if anyone still wants to come, please PL me. Also, if you have another event on the same evening, but would like to come by after 10pm for cocktails and dancing, we will accept lesser donations.

Wilkanoid, I will be serving a modified version of the above menu at the Summer Concert Series on Sunday in Maplewood behind the library. Please stop by and I will pack you a to go menu. Also, in the next few weeks I will be starting a Friday Night Takeout Dinner Menu. Keep an eye out in the Board for postings. |
