Has anyone been?
I am going tomorrow night. The menu looks lovely and I am looking forward to it. wondered if anyone has first-hand experience.

Interesting note: I read a review that said the owner lives in Maplewood....

Went there a few months ago and very unimpressed. I can't remember the specifics, but it was bland, uncreative food. And I dimly remember there being really loud (and bad) live music. It was actually one of the most disappointing food experiences I've had in the area. Aozora on Bloomfield Ave. is much, much better, IMO.

We went a few years ago when it was newly opened. The place was beautiful, but the food was too much fusion and too little Asian. It was very pretty, though. I suppose it depends on what you're looking for. I'm sure a lot has changed since then, but we were never motivated to go back.

Ditto Wilkanoid. Additionally, I found the noise level much too high to enjoy the dinner conversation. And there wasn't even a band then. Asian didn't bother me.

If this is the place on Church St, I'll have to agree with the points made by the above 3 posters. We went there once when it first opened and had no desire to try it a second time.

I ate there twice. First time soon after it opened and it was great. The second time, many years later, they claimed we had only placed $100 (instead of $120) to cover a $98.50 check. Each couple had thrown in $60 to cover the tip. We never returned after that experience.
