If anyone has the time, I strongly suggest you go to Oak Tree Road in Edison/Iselin. I found the most fabulous places to shop for Indian food, clothes, jewelry, icons, and even get the sought-after threading. I had the best time and got stuff that was dirt cheap and mighty good! I started at around the 1700 block of Oak Tree and headed towards Iselin. Patel's Cash and Carry (there are many - hard to describe the "good" one) was chock full of interesting veggies and spices and staples. Enjoy, if you can! |

I heard that the new Indian place is going to be run by the same people who own Village Coffee Co. (which has me a bit wary). Anyone know for sure? |
