Looking for chilpolte chiles in adobo sauce, a common thing found at the tiniest mexican grocery. But where is one? or another store that has a good mexican selection beyond the tex-mex? Tks. |

The Foodtown on Irvington Ave has a bigger selection of mexican groceries than anywhere i've found around here. Not that i've made it a mission to do a thorough hunt... |

I've got some in my cabinet. Either came from Kings or the Super Stop & Shop in the Watchung Plaza on Route 22. Haven't looked for it since I moved here. I would guess that one of the larger Shop Rites would have it. |

Whole Foods often has them, and so does the Bravo on Scotland Road. They actually have an even better supply of Mexican and Latin American foods than Foodtown. |

I've also been able to get them in a jar at Whole Foods which is better than the can. With the can I have to freeze what I don't use. |
