Residence Inn Saratoga Springs had multi bedroom suites with kitchens. Just off of 87, a few minutes from downtown. Was pretty nice.

By this time in July places that fit your requirements that are in Saratoga Springs are usually already reserved for the racing season...you might want to look a little further north - Glens Falls, Lake George - to towns that are within easy driving distance of the race track. You also might want to try the Saratoga Springs chamber of commerce for a listing of hotels and motels with vacancies.

If you do make it up there try eating dinner at Eartha's in Saratoga Springs - very good food, nice ambience, not cheap but reasonably priced (approx.$50-60 pp.).

We go up to Saratoga for day racing and then instead of staying there we drive up to Turning Stone Golf Resort and Casino in Oneida NY for two nights and then hit Saratoga on the way home again. This has worked for us for a few years now and we are going in two weeks..Love Saratoga and Turning Stone is the icing on the cake...best kept secret in Central NY...check it out www.turningstone.com
