Hi all,

I searched through the archives, but couldn't quite find what I was looking for. I have a bunch of people visiting on Sunday and I wondering if there is a good, reasonably-priced brunch place in Maplewood or South Orange.

Agree with Pippi. It is NOT buffet, but you will get the best coffee around, fresh squeezed juice and 2 freshly prepared courses of delicious food, fresh bread and homemade jam for $20pp. Potent bloody marys or other breakfast drinks are about $7.
Mr. Vig and I shared a relaxing brunch a few weeks ago and I literally couldn't finish my meal. The eggs benedict is to die for.

two weeks ago we went to Winberies in Summit - they had a really classy buffet for $18.95 per person. The waffle station had waffles being made fresh; omelets were ordered at the table and brought by the waiter; complementary mimosas and bloody marys. I really enjoyed it (was my birthday) as did the rest of my family and would definitely go back.

I just had my 18 month old - but had 2 80 year olds too, so it was kind of like 3 kids! Just kidding - wouldn't trade them for the world. It was very kid friendly - many other tables had chldren at them as well.
