We want to be tourists and take some friends in to NYC and have pre-theater drinks overlooking Time Square.....any ideas on where?

Are these sort of hip people, or sort of not-so-hip people? If it's the former, try Ava, the rooftop bar in the Dream Hotel on 55th and Broadway. Amazing view, nice vibe. For the latter, there's always the revolving restaurant at the Marriott Marquis, which is sort of fun in a cheesy way.

Thanks Imonlysleeping. The revolving cheesiness sounds perfect. And a personal recommendation is what I was hoping for.

Google is useful but hasn't got the MOL insight to places (yet)!
