Looking for a fireman cake for my son's birthday party this weekend. Have tried the Shop Rite in West Orange, but no luck. Anyone know where to get one?

If you don't mind an expensive cake Cate and Abbey's in South Orange should be able to do it. It will look great and taste amazing.

Someone had a similar problem with a Disney cake a couple months back. I believe that they got a regular cake and put little toys of the desired characters on it. Can you get a Matchbox firetruck & little firepeople? Then the trim could be red.

Try Cold Stone Creamery on Sloan St for a custom kids Ice Cream Cake. They have a really good artist who can decorate most any theme.

For my son's 3rd birthday Cait & Abby's did a great design of a firetruck on his cake. I gave them the invite and they copied it. I imagine they could do a fireman, too. A little pricy, but he loved it.

When ever I see this threads title, I think of the Sopranos. Johnny Cakes. Poor Vito.

Shopright in Union on Morris Ave can copy anything on to a cake. Bring the invite or another picture and they'll do it. The price is right and the cakes are tasty. They did this for me with a Star Wars Darth Vader picture.
