I need recommendations for hotels in Napa (or Sonoma) for our trip in September. There will be three generations - grandparents, parents and kids.
Close to the vineyards preferred.
Up to $200/night/room.

Any recommendations?

It's been a while, but we stayed at the Hillside Inn in Santa Rosa, a great location to dash back and forth between the valleys. It's a basic motel, but they have kitchenettes, a pool and nice landscaping. I just checked it on Tripadvisor, however, and it sounds like the owner has gone psycho. If that doesn't scare you off, it's a reasonable, convenient place to stay in an expensive area.
