I hate to shop and my kids feel twice as strongly about it, and part of that is the schlep out to Route 10 or wherever. We wandered into Other Mothers on Irvington and found it clean, well-organized and very reasonably priced. They were able to choose quite a bit of clothing quickly, and then play. This is probably old news to many MOLers, but I thought it was a place worth noting.

I am a huge fan of Second Childhood on Morris Ave in Springfield

I still like Milk Money better. There's a kids play area in back, and the clothes are better organized and cheaper than Other Mothers. Somehow the smallness and crowded aisles at MM also tend to keep little kids from zooming around wrecking havoc, as mine tend to do at Other Mothers.

Milk Money was great for little kids stuff but it is also much pricier and doesn't have as good boy clothes. Second Childhood's clothes go up to (maybe) young teen. I shop in size 8 boys and there is plenty of good (cheap) stuff).
