restaurants on August 29th (1-year anniv. of Katrina), the
restaurant will donate proceeds for Katrina cleanup/relief.

The only restaurant in our area which was on the list resulting from a search within 15 mile radius of Maplewood, New Jersey is one restaurant in Livingston. Not much of a local community effort. |

Most of the restaurants in NYC are donating 10-20%; the 1% seems to be unusual. |

Too bad it's only 1%.. maybe they forgot the 0? We love Panevino, I'm sorry they're not donating more but we'll be there on the 29th anyway. |

I used to go to Panevino with a bunch of other moms every week after we went to the movies with our infants. Several of us were still (very discreetly) nursing at the time. Ooh, they weren't happy about that. Which sucked, because i love the food there, and i'd think they'd be thrilled to have a regular party come in for lunch at 2pm every tuesday, when the rest of the place was all but empty after the lunch rush.
We eventually just started going to the Macaroni Grill, which was more than happy to have us. |
