never had a briermere farm pie, but besides the incredible pies my wife makes, the best commercially bought pie Ive had in NJ is a good distance away...at the farmstand right off the causeway once you drive onto Long Beach Island. Delicious Orchards pies from Colts Neck I always thought were over-rated. Tom from Just Rugelach at some of the NYC Farmers Markets makes a good pie, and other good fruit based baked goods (and not just rugelach) and he has a bakery now in Clifton but Ive not been to it yet.

We like Cafe Bethoven in Chatham for blueberry, cherry and apple. I think they make peach but we haven't tried it. Never had briermere though.

Not as good as Briermere but the Little Pie Company in NYC is good too.

Some of the sellers at the various farmers markets around often have pies. Haven't tried em, but they certainly look good.

We were lucky enough to have a colleague bring us a Briermere peach pie a couple of weeks ago to say thanks for East End winery and dining suggestions. While the pies at the Maplewood farmers' market are good, they don't compare to Briermere's pies.

Too bad Briermere only ships their jams and jellies!

This past weekend I bought a large box of peaches at costco, a ready made deep dish pie crust, followed a recipe for lattice peach pie on Epicurious.com and 2 hours later Rich had made the best peach pie. It's something you could easily do with your kids. Didn't even take off the skin as they suggested. Yummm...
