I understand the rules for coming back from London, but does anyone know what you can carry onto an outbound flight? I really want to get this right! Thanks.

What I heard was nothing, NOTHING, liquid or gel. No water, soda, contact lens solution etc. Only baby formula and medicines. They are saying to arrive 3 hours before your flight. Lines out the door. Good Luck!

I think 3 hours before an int'l flight is standard - I would plan on 4 hours (as not-fun as that sounds)
If this applies: I would wear glasses rather that contacts...though perhaps they are considered RX & thus like medicine in terms of being in a liquid? Mine are disposable, so I'd just pack a few new pairs & buy more there if my luggage were lost
I might take an empty water bottle to fill regularly from their supply (I've got to think they are loading extra water)

Oh, I forgot to say - have a great trip - I hope this added security doesn't impact you too much - wishing you speedy travels & if not that, then lots of deep breaths & calm!

You have to take the bagel out tho, when going through security.
