Since I have moved to the northeast (and with the exception of Manhattan) I have been in search of great Mexican food. After reading about it from the other thread we decided to give it a try this past weekend and I was wowed.

Not only was the food great but the menu had lots of unusual dishes, the prices were reasonable, lovely decor and most importantly...they served ALCOHOL!

We liked it so much that we went back Sunday afternoon for another sampling. They are also kid-friendly as they have highchairs and had crayons and stuff to draw on available.

http://www.senoritasmexicangrill.com/ - 285 Glenwood Ave, Bloomfield - went there a few months back for lunch. Very reasonably priced lunch specials, and the service was good. Unfortunately it was a weekday, and I wasn't able to sample their margaritas

I've been once. I got the salmon fajitas or something like that. They were good enough, but it was kind of like grilled salmon with some tortillas on the side. We also thought the rice & beans were kindof eh... similar to Toro Loco, which is why i don't go there too often. But if it were closer, i'd be going back more to sample more of the menu. The space was nice and having a bar was great. I have a feeling i just ordered the wrong thing.
