I checked the archives, but didn't see anything recently so -

What car service do you recommend to Newark Airport that is reasonably priced & reliable?

A plus Limo - about $42 includes tip and tolls. Have never let me down, and I travel about 8-9 times a year. 973-275-0660

We've used A Plus in the past with no problems.

Also, the guy that owns Conway Deli on Springfield Ave told me that he does car service to the airport as well, i assume when he's not working. He's very nice, and I think his name is Marty (i don't have his card on me). He said it would be $35 to Newark, but I didn't inquire if it included tolls - probably doesn't include tip. We'll probably give him a whirl next month.

What tolls would you encounter on the way to Newark? You don't need to go onto any toll roads at all so I am confused?

I got stood up by A Plus once. Now I am loyal to Maplewood Taxi (who has also stood us up in the past).

We used to use Maplewood Taxi, but after they were 40 minutes late for a pickup to go to the airport, that was the last time I used them. They also had limited hours on the weekends, which was inconvenient. I've used A+ since then and they've been great. They charge $33 to go to the Airport if paying by cash or $38 if paying by credit card.

We've used everyone in the past, and found no one reliable. We recently used Maplewood Taxi and had a great driver. I think his name was Carlos- just ask for the guy with the GPS. He is a new driver, but bought himself a GPS before he started and because of it has been more reliable than any of the other drivers. We were very happy with him and he was 5 minutes early.
