Anyone eaten here recently? Does it still exist with all the construction going on at the Millburn Mall? We have kosher friends visiting from Israel and will either bring in take-out from one of those places in Livingston (any new recommendations?) or head over to Mosaica. I realize this might be in the archives but am having trouble searching. Thanks!

We recently brought my in-laws to Mosaica (you have to dodge the construction a bit) and it was excellent. My skeptical father-in-law was very impressed and it was one of the few Kosher restraurants that my Italian self has ever really enjoyed.

We eat there as often as our wallets allow. It is on the pricey side (what kosher meat restauant isn't?) but is well worth the expense.
They have specials which they change frequently. Also it is one of the few kosher meat restaurants that knows the difference between medium rare and medium when grilling a steak.
As for something from the Livingston area - we suggest Jerusalem West, a dairy restaurant.

I have lunch there often with my Hasidic clients and we love it. The food is excellent. They say it is the best food they have ever had, and I agree the food is simply excellent. The decor is relatively upbeat, the service could be better, but nothing is perfect.
