I am about to order a sheet cake for my son's 1st birthday party and was wondering if anyone had any comments - good or bad. We are there pretty regularly for ice cream and love the service and ice cream. Thanks! |

In Maplewood? I LOVE their ice cream cakes, you can pick any two flavors of the "scoop" variety plus your choice of chocolate or vanilla softserve on the outside with the requisite crunch layer in the middle; I eat around the "frosting" though, too sweet & gloppy for me but it's a minor quibble. They're also reasonably priced, and do a good job with the decorating, all in all I'm a big fan! |

We have ordered several cakes from the Village Ice Cream in the past--both walk in off the street and order ahead of time. ALways good and good variety. cecilia |
