Did you just drive in and park for the $24/day or what did you do?

I have 3 kids and have been trying to figure out the cheapest way to get there.
So far, driving to Imperial Point (Weehawken) and taking the ferry seems the cheapest/easiest.

Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Its about 10 blocks from the port imperial dock in Manhattan to the terminals on West Side. If you have luggage, you will want a taxi. If you are just seeing someone off, not a problem.

Depending on your purpose for going to the terminal, long term, hire a limo...it is cheaper and less aggrivation. For just one day, enjoy the ferry ride.

I paid the $24 and it was very convenient, but we only did a 4 day cruise. With 3 kids you don't want to start playing planes, trains and automobiles
