I think your keyboard might have been damaged in the move. It looks like your shift key is out of order. |

DReese, China Chalet in Florham Park is very good higher-endish chinese. Definitely up to standards of discerning Chinese foodie palates. Place is packed with Chinese folks for the most part. Probably not a place most would go for takeout on a daily basis because it's not super cheap, but definitely an excellent place. China Gourmet is nearby. Convenient for ok dim sum but will probably disappoint you if you've been spoiled by NYC/Flushing standards. The regular chinese dishes may be more promising though. The place is cleaner and definitely is not your average dive. Wonder Seafood is a bit more of a hike... about 30 min drive south on the Garden State Parkway near Edison. That said, it's the best dim sum I've had in the tri-state area outside of NYC/Flushings and definitely comparable to the best even in NYC - I basically won't even think of driving into Manhattan or Flushings anymore for dim sum fixes after I tried this place and I am a HUGE dim sum fan. It's always packed with Chinese families and other regulars on weekends and I've always had to wait for a spot anytime you arrive there after 11:30am. The regular non-dim sum menu is supposed to be excellent too but haven't done that. |
