Looking for a good place for seafood (salmon in particular) for tonight within a 30 minute drive for 4 adults. Suggestions appreciated. |

I've been talking about this place a lot lately - South City Grill in Jersey City. I was truly amazed with how good their food was, and it's mostly seafood. They have a great selection of oysters if you're into that and their mussels in red sauce were to die for! |

(There is also a South City Grill in Paramus and on Rt 46 around Parsippany, which are all about the same time/distance as Jersey City) |

Legal Seafood in the SH Mall, but call for a reservation, otherwise, you'll wait at least an hour. |

Yes, MHD is right. However the one in JC is about twice the size and there might not be as bad of a wait there. |

Village Trattoria has some of the best salmon meals going. Generally $15, comes with salad and side of pasta. If you don't like the exact preparation posted on the specials board (ie/ blackened), just tell them and ask for alternatives. While it's not the atmosphere of fine dining, I think the food makes up for it. |
