We just got back from trying this. The food was very good. My ribs were good but my wife's fish was divine! I hope that they stick around for a while. Apparently, they will start delivery and have a child's menu in the next couple of weeks. |

I'm out of it. Where is it? What kind of food, exactly? |

It is an Ethiopian restaurant that just opened up next to "It's a Wrap" in Village Plaza (opposite Antonella's). |

Is this a 2nd location, or did the WO location close, and relocate to SO? |

Harrar just moved from lower West Orange to South Orange (Village Plaza), based in part on good MOL press. It's a family-run, down-to-earth, Ethiopian restaurant that's a great addition to downtown S.O. Based on my first experience, it's as good as it was in W.O. The decor is pleasant. Prices are very reasonable, service is very good, and the food is great.

Yum Yum Yum. Three cheers for Harrar. We went last night to try and spice up my labor process (which is non-existent at the moment). Food was delicious, reasonably priced and despite not putting me into labor, it did not hurt mine or SO's belly. We both have sensitive stomachs and were worried how we'd do, especially since we got our food medium spicy. No belly aches of any kind here! We got the lamb (our favorite) and two vegetarian dishes. The cabbage/potato dish was a little bland bu the chick peas were super yummy. Will definitely go back. Hooray! |
