As new SO residents we are excited to try this place after reading some good reviews here. What vegetable, seafood and noodle dishes are recommended? We like spicy too...

Thanks, we want to get it tonight. Walked in and it smelled good!

One of my favorites (if you like ginger) is the ginger and scallion lo mein. For extra $$, you can add shrimp, too.

We order from there a lot and last week tried the eggplant in garlic sauce. It was good. They actually give you mixed veggies in there as well (some places make it with eggplant only).

I also tried the fried wontons with cheese from there once which were good too.

Most of the stuff we order is with meat, so I don't have any other suggestions for you.

Lil MIss LL loves the spring rolls (vegetarian) and the broc in garlic sauce. I'll ask her what else next time we see her .

I think they have some of the best veg dumplings around, and TS loves the veg chow fun.

Got egg drop for the kids, veget. hot & sour soup for us (good)

Veggie dumplings good, though the kids didn't like them.

Shrimp toast for the kids (blah)

Ginger and scallion lo mein (ok, could use more ginger and more scallion)

Eggplant/veggies in garlic sauce... sauce was WAY too sweet, not spicy enough.

Overall not too bad and reasonably priced. Certainly no worse than elsewhere and parking is easy!

VIG, if you order the ginger and scallion lo mein in the future, you can ask for extra ginger--I usually do!

I would say it's marginally better than elsewhere. And when the competition is so bad, just a little bit better is good enough, IMO.
