Just curious... I need to have pizza delivered for a birthday party. Who do you like? Pizza Primo? Maplewood Pizza? Sunrise? Joe's? Thanks for your input.

Personally, I'd go with Maplewood Pizza. I love it. Honestly though, I haven't had the others!

I like Arturo's thin crust (or Pizzeta in Millburn). But if it were for kids mine prefer a traditional crust (since that is basically the only part of the pizza they eat).

Depends when you need delivery. Some of these guys only deliver at certain times. We have been getting Maplewood Pizza for awhile since they sponsored out t-ball team, but also like Primo (good to support them on SA, esp. since Papa John's is there). I'd call both and make sure they could accommodate your delivery time. You can't lose with either of those two.

Just a warning with Aurturo's. I have been to two parties that pizza was ordered from there, and they were about an hour late for both deliveries.

my husband is always more than happy to escape the party and go pick-up the pizza. I hate the idea of waiting for delivery with hungry party-goers.

We do Arturo's or Bunny's

Pizza Primo! Great pizza and the owner himself delivered the pies to my daughter's birthday last year. Came right on time, had change, easy as.... pie

Well, in my book I was going back and forth with Bunny's and Resevoir for best pizza in the area. But recently I ordered in Arturo's and I think it's my new favorite.

I guess were talking kids here right? They'll eat pretty much any pizza as long as it's pizza. Why not save some cash and do Domino's or Poopa Johns. They won't know the difference, or care.

Another vote for Pizza Primo. Their pizza is as good as anything I had growing up in Brooklyn and whenever I ordered from them the pizzas were delivered hot and on time.

Yes, they delivered to me in Maplewood. Be aware they charge a very nominal delivery fee though. So don't do what I did and overtip the guy.

Pizza Primo is on Springfield Ave in Maplewood, between Yale and Prospect. They definitely deliver in Maplewood, don't know about SO.
