My brother's getting married near Princeton and we're looking for a good place to hold a rehearsal dinner in that area. Any ideas? Hoping to host a dinner for the out-of-towners, so somewhat casual and big enough for a bit of a crowd would be preferred over super-fancy (Rats at Grounds for Sculpture was recommended, for instance, but I imagine the cost would be prohibitive). Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might offer. |

Mediterra is a causal but classy place with private rooms. I love the Triumph Brewing Company, but that may be a little too casual, but their food is great. Another place that would be good is a town over in Plainsboro called Tre Piani. Here's their web site: http://www.trepiani.com/ Good luck! |

Bak, Thank you so much. They all look amazing. Mediterra can't take us, but we'll definitely check out the other two. Triumph looks like it might be perfect! |

Triumph is great - they have two locations, one in Princeton and one in New Hope. If you're looking for something a little more casual, but still "nice" it might be just the place. |

Upstairs at Triumph can be a nice space, but is very noisy on a busy night. I've been to recruiting events there and had trouble hearing the person next to me. Unless they've installed a wall, the situation probably hasn't changed. |
