My brother's getting married near Princeton and we're looking for a good place to hold a rehearsal dinner in that area. Any ideas? Hoping to host a dinner for the out-of-towners, so somewhat casual and big enough for a bit of a crowd would be preferred over super-fancy (Rats at Grounds for Sculpture was recommended, for instance, but I imagine the cost would be prohibitive). Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might offer.

Mediterra is a causal but classy place with private rooms. I love the Triumph Brewing Company, but that may be a little too casual, but their food is great.

Another place that would be good is a town over in Plainsboro called Tre Piani. Here's their web site: http://www.trepiani.com/

Good luck!

Bak,
Thank you so much. They all look amazing. Mediterra can't take us, but we'll definitely check out the other two. Triumph looks like it might be perfect!

Triumph is great - they have two locations, one in Princeton and one in New Hope. If you're looking for something a little more casual, but still "nice" it might be just the place.

Upstairs at Triumph can be a nice space, but is very noisy on a busy night. I've been to recruiting events there and had trouble hearing the person next to me. Unless they've installed a wall, the situation probably hasn't changed.
