Does anyone know whether any of the neighboring towns have real non-resident parking options near the train station. I thought I may have heard that Brick Church does, but I am not sure. I would appreciate any assistance.

Try Orange (tucked behind the Post Office), and take the train to Hoboken. Lots of old world charm, and none of that mad rush to board your train on the way home. (Or, park in Orange and catch the limited number of Midtown Direct trains to NYP.) It's also a cheaper trip, which will cover your parking costs.

Parking is $40/month in Orange. You can also switch at Newark Broad street for a midtown direct (and same for coming home).

I am pretty sure some midtown direct trains (both ways) stop at Orange
