We're looking for a nice place for Mother's Day brunch somewhere on the Hudson in the Rockland/Westchester area. Any recommendations out there? Since we're meeting up with family from CT, we'd like a place where we can also walk around a bit - that's why we're thinking Piermont or Nyack.

Thanks!

If you want to go all out, go to Xaviars

Filmboy,

Have you been to Slattery's Landing? Looks good from the website, but I don't find a review of it anywhere.

Xaviar's is a bit out of our price range, but I definitely want to go sometime without the kid.

I've had a few business lunches there and it was good, never been there for dinner.

In Tappan there is a good italian place called Il Postino (sp?) that I would recommend.

Phyllis,

It is hard to stomach a $35 lunch! My in-laws used to be very fond of going to Xaviars when it was in Garrison, and they paid!

The town of Piermont has a website which lists the local restaurants.

Relish is supposed to be awesome. It's in Sparkhill, right near Piermont. The Thai restaurant that's in an old diner in Nyack is also very nice.
