We're considering one of the 4 day windjammer cruises off the coast of Maine this June (trying to see if any of the ships have any availability letft). Any suggestions, advice would be great. We're thinking about also camping for a few nights in Arcadia National Forest.

Also, does anyone know of any travel agents that might be able to help us plan this?

Katy, we have been to Acadia many times and just love it there. I doubt you will be able to get national park campsite reservations but you may get the commercial campgrounds. I preferred them, actually, as they spray for mosquitoes. There are 2 nice campgrounds on the road to Bar Harbour. There is also the best lobster shack in Maine (IM limited E!) on that same road, not too far after you turn from the main road, just before a small Indian reservation. It is a real roadside shack on the right as you are heading towards BH. Fabulous food. Like everything up there it closes early though!! (This may not make much sense to you but print it out if you go - you will see the place I am talking about easily - it is the only one on that road.)

Akb...thanks for the recommendations...we'll definitely have to find that lobster shack...sounds like exactly our style!

And you are right Acadia is full! We'll check into the private campgrounds.
