We're flying out of JFK - Aer Lingus to Shannon. The travel agent and Aer Lingus say that we should be at the airport 3 hours before our 10 p.m. flight. Really? THREE hours? Really? |

Well, to avoid lots of crowds and last minute rushes, 3 hours is a good idea. My most recent flight on SAS to Stockholm in April (I got to EWR 2 and a half hours before departure for check-in) got real sporty as the two hour mark was reached. My most recent Aer Lingus flight to Shannon, the week before March 17, was real crowded at the 2 hour mark. Being there earlier was a godsend. I hope you'll be paying a visit to Collins's pub in Adare Village--- several of my cousins are there a few nights a week, and there's good music Thursday evenings. Have a safe trip. |
