We had breakfast there on Saturday morning. Pancakes for the wife, runny egg (sunny side up) for the little one and eggs benedict for myself. All was very good. The place was super busy and the waitress, even though clearly stretched was very friendly and attentive.

Host was friendly, place was clean.

I'll be baack.

Mr. Shh & I went for bkfst this AM. I had eggs benedict, but with lox instead of bacon. They charged $2 extra, no big deal, but it was good and their english muffins are extra wide.
Coffee was even tolerable, and I can't drink coffee anywhere.

OK, I TRIED to go late tonight (Sunday) and they were closed. I couldn't find a phone number to call them before I left the house. I was extremely disappointed that they were closed. Diners are by definition supposed to stay open late. I was unhappy that they didn't have their hours posted on the front door. I'm pretty sure that the Milburn Diner and the Maplewood diner were still open.

Certainly a bad start for me. A SERIOUSLY BIG STRIKE ONE!

Alleygater, most of the cost of a dish is labor and other overhead, so the cost of materials doesn't affect the price as heavily as if does when you make it at home.

I love this diner. I have had a few salads and a burger, and everyhing has been incredibly fresh and delicious.

The owners and staff are fantastic.

Spread the word.

We need this place to stay open!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took my 2-year-old there for lunch yesterday. Food was good; my one gripe was that the waitress brought my meal out first (along with some plates for another table), then went back to get my daughter's food. My poor little girl started bawling, thinking she wasn't getting anything to eat. I also had to request some of the sides that were supposed to come with the deluxe burger. But it was still a big step up from the Sage. The kiddie meal was easily big enough for an adult and I ended up having the rest of it for dinner last night.

I went at 10:45PM. And can only see your point, Tom if I didn't have expectations from every other diner. If those can stay open late, why doesn't this one?

Went Friday night and had the Greek wrap which was delicious. Came with a side cucumber salad and the waitress gave us a complimentary curly pasta salad. They were extremely nice and accommodating to our hyperactive toddler and the turkey burger that my wife had also was good.

Definitely want to try out the moussaka next time.

Their hours every day are 6am - 11pm.

Grab a fold-out menu on your way out that's on the cash register table.

My husband just went for lunch and loved it. And he's very hard to please. Reminded him of E.J.'s in the Village. I can't wait to go--

We ate there last night on our way home from picking up one of our kids at the airport. We were all very happy with our meals and the service. Will definitely go back!
