Drove past the zoo today and noticed a FOR SALE sign in front of the Slaviansky Bazaar building (Russian restaurant next to McDonalds on Northfield in WO) . I thought it looked rather deserted in past weeks, ... i.e. no cars in lot, overgrown lawn, etc. I guess the for sale sign confirms it.

With a drive through window already in existence in the building, I'd love a Boston Market, Popeyes or KFC to open there.

I'd like a Quiznos. But Boston Market would be ok too.

Lesson
Never, ever put "bazaar" in a restaurant name.

NOw that it's closed I can say that place always gave me the heebies, not sure why. Dave may be right, that "bazaar" word in a carnival-esqe fashion may have did it; I imagine bearded ladies or something...

Would love to see a Chipotle open in our area. Any body else ever tried it? It's awesome!

Dego Diva - how does Chipotle compare to Baja Fresh? I see that the nearest Chipotle is in NYC...

They're quite different actually. Baja Fresh reminds me of an upscale Taco Bell with semi-table-service. They have a rather wide variety on their menu. Chipotle is pretty much only burritos - but GOOD LORD do they make those burritos well! I'd equate them more with Quidoba than Baja - but better!
