Anyone use the Shop From Home service from the Nutley Shoprite?
It seems to be the closest to my West Orange home. I'm temporarily (I hope it is temporary) physically not able to be walking through the grocery store. I figured I'd try the internet ordering, if I can get enough coupons to cover the $10 fee and the extra gas/time to drive there.

How does it work? Do you order from home and then go pick the groceris up?

I do it from the Clark ShopRite and it has been great. THey forgot to give me some of my bags twice, but both times they delivered them right away.

I don't worry about the $10 charge because I spend so much less money this way. I set a limit and when I see my total going past that number I take things out of my "cart".

We have used both the Clark and Nutley Shoprite stores ordering over the internet and by far it is the only way we will do our main shopping. You order your items on the website: www.shoprite.com and choose a delivery date/time and pick up at the specified times. We have never had any bags forgotten and they ask us beforehand if they do not have an item if the can substitute with another. We have a 13mos old and shopping with him is difficult at best. The $10 surcharge for this far...far outweighs going up and down the aisles and waiting on line to check out.

I'm waiting for PeaPod to come to our area. My niece lives in Westfield, goes online, orders her groceries and they appear at her front door on the day she specifies. All for a $5 charge.
