I want to thank all three for helping us have a wonderful party.

My son wanted Heart and Soul for his Bar Mitzvah party (great kid, huh?). Chef Jesse worked up the ribs, salmon, and gumbo, lots of cornbread, a vat of mac & cheese, yellow rice, and yams. Everyone was blown away by the food, as usual. There was even too much, which meant that we just had to take it home for leftovers--yahoo, ribs for breakfast today!

The food arrived very hot, on time, and in perfect condition.

We got the cake from Cait and Abby and it was likewise perfect--great crumb, great frosting, great price.

And the room at Ethical Culture was perfect for this type of event--laid back, comfortable, family oriented. And very affordable.

Oh yeah, the kid did real well, also--davened like a pro, made the old man kvell with pride. Ya gotta love how Sharey Tefilo prepares these kids.

Thanks for the mazel.

Jewish soul food. It helps to be from the mostly non-observant culturally Jewish persuasion.

We could compete for that position.
