Not to reignite the, frankly, really bizarre "discussion" that ensued, but my wife and I roped in some family babysitting this evening and went and had dinner at Wish, so, I now have some first hand experience.
In short, the NYT review was on the mark. The dinner was excellent.
Her: Arugula salad, soft shell crab with wasabi mashed potatoes. Unique combination; spicy and wonderful.
Him: Muscles followed by sun fish (fresh, flaky white fish). Enormous piece of fish over a tasty purple-ish rice--delicious.
What else is there to say? There was parking, comfortable seats, very friendly staff and owners and a pleasant environment.
