We're looking to sublet a timeshare, rent a place or even get a hotel room for two-three nights, July 24 (maybe), 25 and 26. Any suggestions? We can't do a week. Also we want to find the best deal for Disney and/or Universal tix. Thanks.

I don't think there is any deals for Disney tix, sadly. This si a great website for Orlando trips:

We stay at the Hyatt Grand Cypress Hotel every year. In the summer they run a special call Sunshine on Sale if you check their website the sale should be listed. I think if you stay a certain amount of days they give you one day free. I think the parks offer discounts for FL residents only. Universal and Sea World run specails where you by one day and get the next day free. Disney does not offer specials. Beware of the free park tickets it usually involes a day looking at time shares.

Visiting a time share is a good way to kill 2 hours in a morning and to also get free tickets. It's well worth the presentation. It doesn't take a whole day. They say the presentation is 90 minutes but allow for 2 hours, just in case.
