This Thursday (and likely Friday and Saturday, but please call 973-763-9005 between 5 and 7 to get the real deal) Chef Jesse is offering a new twist on his famous rib recipe. I don't want to give a lot away, but the word "apricot" is involved in the tempting new offering. I'm already down for the ribs, mac & cheese and the collard greens, so I can't get locked out on Thursday.

Run, don't walk, for his apricot sauce. The first time I had it was on the chicken, but it was awesome. |

Apricot is my favorite flavor. Chef Jesse is killing me. Doesn't he know I'm a vegetarian? |

Nice to have seen you yesterday, Jesse. You are a gentleman and friend. Your ribs are unbelievable and the apricot seasoning sounds delicious. |

If you are new to the area (WELCOME!) then you should DEFINITELY check out the Restaurant Page that Dave and Jamie have so kindly created for us all. It's really useful. To answer your question though, it's at 61 Academy Street which is in South Orange near (I think 2nd street?) in the same strip mall as Dominoes Pizza. And just so everyone knows, I'm going tonight. I hope you can get reservations. Nah! Nah! |

Had the ribs with the new sauce last night - OH MY GOD!!! I ate every piece of meat off of every bone. I didn't think Jesse's ribs could get better, but somehow he did it again. Run, don't walk, to try this food! |
