After a 4 year hiatus, I have started flying a plane out of Morristown Airport again. Starting back with Cessena C-172's, and will gradually start flying a Mooney again.

Just wondering if there are any private pilots out there on MOL.... if so, what are your favorite places to fly to which are within a 3-hour flight (assume 110 kph in a 172)?

My favorite place to fly is Block Island. Only 1-1/4 hours from Morristown.

i haven't flown in quite a while, but my favorite flying used to be along the Hudson River. From here up to the mid hudson Valley is a nice flight that's not that far. There are some nice small airports (Kingston, Sky Acres) near the river to stop at. If you want to go a little further you can fly over Lake George and the south end of Lake Champlain.
