For all the day tripers, driving back from Bucks Co today I passed the most breathtaking fields of sunflowers in full bloom. I would guess at least 100 acres!! I took pix, as well as another person enchanted with them.

Easy drive about 45-50 min.-just past Round Valley Rec. on Rt 78. Exit 15 (Clinton), make left onto Rt 513 S, follow for about 4 miles to Pittstown, at Pittstown Inn (I think is the name, remodled last year)Make a right to follow Rt 513 S. The FIRST fields will be about a mile on your right. Follow Rt 513 another 1/2 mile for the OTHER fields on right. Keep an eye out for the horses and foals out in the fields on your left.

If you keep following Rt 513 S, you'll end up at the Delaware River in Frenchtown, another 15 minutes or so. The Inn in Pittstown looks like a nice place for lunch.

This week they're perfect.
